Title : System for Contributing to the Liberalization of Electricity Service
Abstract :
Electricity service has been liberalized, and more than 200 new electric power companies were established in Japan. These new electric power companies are required to keep the balance of the amount of purchase electric power and sales electric power by every 30 minutes. Furthermore, there is also needs for stable utilization of renewable electric power such as solar and wind power which is difficult to control. Many problems of new competitive market will be solved by direct communication using the cloud between consumers and suppliers who are dispersed over a wide area. Activating electric market by new rules or condition is reported, such as contributes a stable power supply by dispersed renewable energy power, generating various derived services by sharing consumption information in real time.
