Title: Characteristics and Development Challenges of Battery EV

Abstract:
Electric vehicles (EVs) have architectures very different from conventional gasoline and hybrid vehicles, creating unique development challenges. Key issues include efficient use of larger batteries, heat management in car systems, and ensuring safety and reliability. This presentation outlines these challenges and our approach to solving them with mathematical modeling and optimization, and I look forward to your feedback. Practical examples, such as charging control and driving energy optimization, demonstrate tangible benefits, including longer driving range and shorter charging times. We also discuss the role of in-vehicle embedded control software and key development considerations. The presentation highlights how mathematical and software approaches can work together to advance EV development.
